Quality and certifications
MeMon has multiple production sites in the Netherlands and abroad. We continuously invest in optimization of our production methods, focusing on technology and quality control. This enables us to meet national and international standards and regulations.
Certificates
- The quality management system of MeMon is certified by Kiwa for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
- MeMon’s production sites are certified by the nVWA for the production of organic fertilizers and soil improvers in accordance with EC Regulations 1069/2009 and 142/2011.
- Fertilizers that comply with the EU legislation on organic production (EU 2021/1165 and EU 2018/848) are certified by Control Union Certifications. Our Control Union Certification registration number is: CU 800842.
- Various fertilizers are registered at different national Input lists for organic production by FiBL. The assessment follows the national legal requirements, the EU legislation on organic production (EU 2021/1165 and EU 2018/848) and scientific FiBL criteria.
- ORGEVIT is registered with OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute). This fertilizer may be used in certified organic production or food processing and handling according to the USDA National Organic Program regulations (NOP).
Quality insurance
- All production processes are fully and continuously monitored.
- Incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products are sampled and analyzed on physical and chemical product features on site.
- An external accredited laboratory performs periodical checks on e.g. nutrient content, heavy metals and microbiology (salmonella, E. coli).
- Track & Trace: Each lot supplied by MeMon is labelled with a production date and batch number. Based on these data, we are able to track and trace our products at any desired moment. Samples of the lots produced are stored for at least two years.
